There is hardly any machine that has got ubiquitous popularity like ATM in recent market now. It is something on which people are getting more dependent on it. This, in fact changes the complete banking process. However, ATMs are getting relatively complex in how they work and how they actually operate.

The purpose of ATM is to dispense money. People can withdraw money whenever they want at anyplace and at anytime. ATMs basically operate like computer but with some additional ATM parts it allows some specific functions. Basically ATMs use a special type of software which runs on computers and allow the ATM to perform some specific functions to withdraw money. Like any other machines, they can break or malfunction like any other computer. There are some specialized parts of ATM that need maintenance and repairing from time to time. Let’s check out those parts:

Keypad: Keypad is an important part of ATM that requires regular maintenance from time to time. It allows customer to input personal identification or Pin number in to the machine and select what type of transaction you want to make and thus you can communicate with ATM software. Therefore, it is an important part which is required to be replaced or repair if any major problem occurs.

Card reader: Card reader reads out account information which is stored on magnetic strip. You just need to put your ATM card into the card reader. Once you enter the card into the card reader, it interprets the information and retrieves customer’s account information. Any error occurred in the card reader should be repaired by professional technicians.

Cash Dispenser: The main purpose of an ATM is to dispense cash and therefore it is the most important part. Basically, this cash dispenser is a pivotal and sophisticated part, so it should be maintained and repaired from time to time.

Hence, these are some important ATM parts without which this machine cannot work properly.
